Little Dreams goes to the Olympics !

4 players from AYSA (Aces Youth Soccer Academy in Harare, Zimbabwe), a Soccer Academy directed by Marc Duvillard from Switzerland and supported by The Little Dreams for almost 10 years, will be involved in the Women's Soccer Tournament, where they will face Germany, Australia and Canada.

Sheila Makoto (26), Daisy Kaitano (22), Eunice Chibanda (20) and Marjory Nyaumwe (29), who came to Switzerland in 2010 to participate in a tournament in Lugano, are part of the Zimbabwean National Team, the so-called Mighty Warriors, who will face the German national team this next Wednesday, August 3rd.

Our two former Tennis champions, the Swiss Timea Bacsinszky (27 – WTA 15) and the French Alize Cornet (26 - WTA 49) will play the first round of their Olympic tournament this Saturday, August 6

Regarding our other Swiss representative, Nathalie Brugger (30), she will start the sailing competition Wednesday, August 10 in the Nacra 17 class (multihull) mixed category.

The Lausanne-born will participate in her 3rd Olympics (she finished 6th in the Laser Radial competition in Beijing in 2008 and 14th in London in 2012.

Last but not least, the only boy in the group, the young promising Moroccan champion Soufiane El Bakkali will race the 3000m steeplechase. The series starts Monday, August 15.
