Stars continue to join the 2014 Annual Gala "Dreaming on the Beach," to support the Little Dreams Foundation, a charitable organization founded by legendary English musician and singer Phil Collins and by his former wife Orianne.
Becoming part of this grand event - which will take place on Saturday December 6 at The Fillmore at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach - is international music sensation Gigi D' Alessio, a one-of-a-kind Italian producer, singer, songwriter and orchestra director.
A native of Naples, D' Alessio has sold over 10 million albums in a career that spans two decades. The artist began this year on a high note when his album ORA reached the top of the World Billboard Music Chart, an achievement last earned by Domenico Modugno and his Volare 50 years ago.
D' Alessio closes the year with a concert titled Gigi D' Alessio and Friends, which will be broadcast live to more than 20 million people from Plebiscito Square in Naples, powered by Live Nation and Music Life.
The main objective of the Little Dreams Foundation is to help talented young people who do not have the necessary economic resources to achieve their dreams in the areas of art, music, and sports. Thus, the gala seeks to raise funds for the organization Foundation, which so far has supported 14 kids in the fields of music and sports here in Miami.
Along with D' Alessio, other major performers that will be collaborating with the Little Dreams Foundation include iconic singer, producer, and composer Richard Marx; Latin Grammy winner Laura Pausini; and Mexican singer/songwriter/actress/musician Alejandra Guzmán, also known as "La reina del rock" (The queen of rock), and who has sold over 10 million records.
These magnificent entertainers will share the stage with Phil Collins, the British drummer, actor, singer, and producer that has earned numerous awards over a long and prolific career in which he has received seven Grammys, two Oscar nominations, and a Golden Globe. Between his solo career and his time with the group Genesis, Collins has sold over 200 million records. His performance at the 2014 Annual Gala "Dreaming on the Beach" promises to be an unforgettable event
